Short but cool.  Now I'll just hope for at least one perhaps even two (*gasp*) Sam/Jack scenes.  I'd be so tickled...

As one would expect, I zipped by Best Buy yesterday after work and picked up the Stargate SG1: The Ark of Truth movie and watched it when I got home.  Overall, I was happy with the wrap-up of the Ori plotline and the movie itself.  It was good to see all the familiar faces again all together in a team.



I'm rather looking forward to Continuum, due out this summer, mostly because RDA will be in it -- I miss Jack.  I'm really hoping for just a smidgeon or three of Sam/Jack moments or some acknowledgement of their relationship.  Especially after the cut dialogue between Sam and Jennifer in SGA's "Trio." (lj link)  Why oh why did that have to be cut....???

Clocking Out by nandamai -- It's Jack's last day at the SGC. Naturally, something goes horribly wrong.  *I've read this a few times now and enjoy it every time.*
Perfection by splash_the_cat -- He wouldn't have her any other way. *Cute and funny.*
No Words by Gail R. Delaney -- No words are necessary between them.  *An older fic that I've read a multitude of times, simply because I love it so much, especially the final scene.*
A Simple Change by Rowan Darkstar -- "The first time Daniel saw them kiss, he stared like a 12-year-old." Set post-season 8.   *An interesting Daniel-POV take on Sam/Jack, not one I entirely understand since I never could see Sam/Daniel as a couple, but a good tale nonetheless.*

Maybe more later as I find them...hmm....

There's a Stargate convention in Burbank this weekend. On Sunday, Jay Acovone, Corin Nemec, and Joe Flanigan will all be speaking and doing autographs.  And I am *SOOOOOOOO* tempted to go.  I haven't been to a convention in several years and every time I think about going to one, there's never anyone I want to see on Sunday (the only day I can go).  This time there is.  The question is do I want to drive and shell out the money for gas plus all the money required to get into the convention, plus whatever I spend on top of that for autographs and merchandise.  Hmmm.....
